i like this poem. it describe a separation of two lovers. the woman must be
younger than the man, the man let her go for he wants to give her a young
morning, sunlight, firm day, a green (spring)rather than a cold, fragile
days with an old man. so he said to her: go and kiss me, remember me, kiss
me and go.

up into the silence the green is about a man lossing his lover. the "up
into the silence the green" is a ground barriel place, death. the earth.
and "Silence with white earth in it." is seeing heaven. his lover going to
heaven. (kiss me down into your memory & a memory & memory i will go)-his
lover is now only a memory left in his head, her physical repensitation is
no longer there. only images of his lover are left in his head.

Fresh, green, soft, like spring. The sort of poem that is too good for
analysis, I just like to read it over and over.

Great poem. I am imagining two lovers parting in the morning, perhaps their
love is a secret and the young lady must go before her absense is noted,
and her lover understands why she must go and insists she does but at the
same time will not allow her to leave, continuating their lovemaking. It is
quite poignant.
