up into the silence the green is about a man lossing his lover. the "up into the silence the green" is a ground barriel place, death. the earth. and "Silence with white earth in it." is seeing heaven. his lover going to heaven. (kiss me down into your memory & a memory & memory i will go)-his lover is now only a memory left in his head, her physical repensitation is no longer there. only images of his lover are left in his head.

Fresh, green, soft, like spring. The sort of poem that is too good for analysis, I just like to read it over and over.
