Fresh, green, soft, like spring. The sort of poem that is too good for analysis, I just like to read it over and over.

Great poem. I am imagining two lovers parting in the morning, perhaps their love is a secret and the young lady must go before her absense is noted, and her lover understands why she must go and insists she does but at the same time will not allow her to leave, continuating their lovemaking. It is quite poignant.
