silence with a white earth in it

out into the morning the young
morning with a warm world in it

on into the sunlight the fine
sunlight with a firm day in it

I am imagining two lovers parting in the morning, perhaps their love is a secret and the young lady must go before her absense is noted, and her lover understands why she must go and insists she does but at the same time will not allow her to leave, continuating their lovemaking.
