Although a wantabe buddist, I too can accept that the (instant) the Christ
child arrived may be the most defining moment in recorded human
history...and then there were XII.

Drivel? He's talking about the instant of the birth of Christ, an even,
historical or not, which has impacted the entire course of Western history!
It may be different from what we are used to, but it most certainly isn't
drivel to remark on such a thing.

Bloody drivel is what it is. Here's what I'd do, Malcolm. I'd tell old
Logan that if she spends taxpayer money on one more volume of drivel like
that, the library won't get painted this fiscal year.
