same time, but also hard to get.

i enjoy this poem. to me its simply a way of showing how even in death
there is life.

Form, Wording and Style:
The way the poet wrote his name, the way he wrote the title of the poem,
the wording and punctuation reflect his love for new styles. The poem has
no punctuation marks at all. That may be done on purpose to keep the
pictures flowing with words, one after another.
The poet uses the sonnet form of 14 lines, but with different arrangement
of rhymes. Some of the rhymes are not perfect rhymes:
Others rhyme fully:
So there is a free choice in the rhymes of the sonnet.

The Theme: The theme of the poem is about death, but the poet expresses
that within the context of love and nature.

The words used reflect different pictures or images in every line of the
poem. One can imagine fruit hanging out from trees, but they are emerging
from eyes:

From each brave eye shall sprout a tree
fruit dangles therefrom.

After death man becomes part of nature:

Between my lips which did sing
a rose shall beget the spring
and virgins put the rose between their little breasts. His heart will be
pulsing through the ebb and flow of the sea.

So, death is expressed through natural scenes of: trees, roses, virgin
girls, flying birds and the sea.
One can feel the emotions of the poet through the natural images that he
can see. The romantic tradition is kept in the poem, but the new thing is
the use of syntax, the way of arranging individual words into larger
phrases and sentences.

In my opinion I think this poem is either about the four seasons and the
cycle they go through or the life cycle of a tree. if you'd like to discuss
wh i think this comment back and i will reply
