I'm doing AS dance. You could try a split personality, try portraying all
the 4 girls separately. Then you could say that it is like how the poem is
structured, with set sections surrounding each girl?

I am also doing AS dance and was drawn to this poem whereas other members
of my class thought it was silly and has chosen other stimuli to use. i
think that this could be quite a difficult one to do but could be done as a
narrtive rather than abstract piece. dont no how i couold represent all
four girls tho? any ideas?

Basically I do AS level dance and I have to create a solo piece reflecting
what the poem is trying to portrait. It seems to me to symbolise a persons
search to find who they are in a world where its too easy to imitate others
and conform. But I would like someone to further aliterate the depths of
the poem aswell as give me and idea of how I could create a contemporary
piece on the poem.

Im taking As-level dance and this poem sounded stupid to me as i read it
without an open mind i just saw that it didnt rhyme and thought it was
stupid but i guess looking at other peoples views on the poem makes me
understand it more! i wasnt reali impressed with the questions we were
given on the paper but i think i need to look more deeply into them to get
a good full understanding on them. Thanks for ur opinions they reali have
made me think!!

I am also studying a level dance and have to produce a dance on the poem. i
feel that the poem is about one person who finds many different
personalities at the seaside. i feel this person would be quite old and
find their inner, much younger selves!!
