breathtaking. it is both raw and eloquent: a sublime and evocotive

this poem is absolutely beautiful, the imagery is dead-on. romantic and
sensual and everybody feels like this, somehow at some point in their
lives. but this is an amazing way to express that feeling.

I read this poem for the first time yesterday and immediately fell in love
with it. The images it gave were immotive to say the least. Because of

I'm an actor and memorize poems for recitation. I was with a very special
someone awhile ago.. and as we were together, I slowly recited this poem
and, of course, demonstrated. It was an amazing experience. This is much
more than a literary work..... But you knew that.

i really like this poem it has such a strong meaning to it and when you
read it well i know i can get a picture in my head and thats what i like
about poems froma scale form 1 to 10 i will give this poem a 9 1/2

this is my favorite poem by e.e. cummings i have it posted up all over my
walls in my room! it is so passionate and makes your body shiver when you
