His father is a rose in his mothers heaven. His eyes are petals, his face is a flower (not a face with hands. put your hands against the side of your head and spread you fingers - it looks like petals on a flower, but he is a flower.) Also, I like how he and the rest of the flowers bow in the presence of sunlight, i.e. his beloved

this is a very touching poem.
i love it!!! i give him props,
even though he's dead. it's so
sad what happened to his parents.
and i would't change it for anything.
this by far, is one of his BEST poems.
i can't even begin to say how much i like
this poem. yes it is about death and sadness,
but it is also about his feelings and he does an outstanding job in showing, and not telling. Which touches
most of us. great job E.E. :)

this poem is sad. it is really deepish in the sense of death. tho my friends dont get the poem it is really good
