In the poem I Carry Your Heart With Me, E.E. Cummings talks about a person
who has a deep love for another person who are seperated from one another.
The refrence, I Carry Your Heart With Me means that all actions and
decisions are always thought about with the loved one in mind. The deep
secret that nobody knows, refers to how sometimes in life things are a
wonder and in this case "keeping the stars apart", symbolizes two people
deeply in love being seperated.

I believe that e.e. cummings is a phenomenal poet. This poem reflected a
sweet side of him. I think that he had found someone he loved or was
telling the ones he loves how much they mean to him. Other that his grammer
and punctuation mistakes I really enjoy this work of art he created.

I love this poem, I saw it last night on the tv when I saw in her shoes,
Cameron Diaz read it.

What beautiful emotion this author must have felt! I really believe that
he intertwined the love of someone special he once knew with where love all
began, God. The bud of the bud is creation, it all started with Him.
There is no greater love than that of God. I feel intense emotion when I
read this poem, although I've never really been very much into poems. Of
course I cry every time I hear Cameron Diaz read it in "In Her Shoes."
This poem has given me the desire to read more . . .

This I listened to this poem the first time in my life. It is part of the
last scene of the movie "In den Schuhen meiner Schwester" ("In Her Shoes")
as probably all of you know.
I was thinking of my sister living far away, of my mum who has past away a
couple of years ago, of all my family and the ways we live and - I couldn't
help crying for this poem says exactely what I feel.

For any who took what I said and thought about it I appreicate now as for
poetry you can't just read it and analysis, paraphrasis, or critizize it
you have to feel what the arthor felt when he wrote it. That is how you
truly read poetry.

Love is a four letter word what it means is more important than anything
though. So why is this?Because it is the feeling we get when we are truly so
deep in feelings that we can't deny, so when you say I love you truly mean
what you say and don't let it be just another four letter word.
