The beauty in this poem is overwhelming. It's deffinately one way to steal
a womans heart.

e.e. cummings is perhaps one of the strangest poets of all time and one of
America’s finest poets of all time. He was encouraged at a young age to be
creative and was later Harvard educated. His methods for writing follow no
traditional guidelines in the sense of punctuation or capitalizing. e.e.
cummings is without a doubt a difficult person to understand. In his poem i
carry your heart with me he uses metaphorical statements to compare a
girl’s beauty to the world, the moon, and the sun. He also uses repetition
when he says how he carries her heart both at the beginning and ending to
reemphasize how much he cares for her.

Cummings distinct style of free verse poetry and non capitalization are key
components of his poetry. Cummings also wrote many of his poems about love,
which is the case here. He writes about love so much because his first true
love in a marriage was a disastrous stint that only lasted for nine months
before he was abandoned and divorced. Cummings was left with the root of
the root, the bud of the bud, and after the divorce had nowhere to place
his love, but inside his very own heart.

e.e. cummings was born in a good family unlike Emily Witman. She started
out well and ended dying at an early age. The poem refers to his life and
how he was with the ladies.

E.E. Cummings is a unique love, satirical, and descriptive nature poet. His
writing styles emulate those of the famous Emily Dickinson. "I carry your
heart with me" is a love poem with personification and repetition. Even
though Cummings is not your prototypical poet and refuses to use
punctuation, capitalization, or even give his poems a title, we can easily
tell that he pours his heart out when it comes to writing.

Edward Estlin also known as the great american poet, e.e.cummings broke all
the traditional writers rule. He was known for not using
capitalization, punctuation, and used improper grammer. e.e. cummings
volunteered for an ambulance corp where he later on in war was imprisioned
by the French and help hostage. This great event lead to one of his
greatest short story poem: Enormous Room which was released in 1922. He was
a realistic writer and believed nature was the moat mystical thing and that
no one would even understand the whys and the hows. He once said,"When
skies are hanged and oceans drowned/ the single secret will still be man."
