The Poet and His Book

This one is my favourite poem.Ms Millay at her best.It is
marked by strong emotion, noble poetical expressivity, its
spirit and theme quite Shakespearean, imho. It is pure poetry,as it always
should be.

One of the few more idealistic and less cynical of Ms. Millay's works, it
is also very reflective of any writer hopeful. We shall not die until our
works are left to mold, undiscussed-- so, all we ask of the people is that
they read us, remember us, and thereby prolong our lives. :)
