David Wagoner

David Wagoner (1926 - Present)

David Wagoner is the editor of Poetry Northwest, a quarterly magazine of poertry published in the Northwest and is one of the Northwest’s most noted poets.

David Wagoner was born in Massillon, Ohio, in 1926. He is Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Washington. Wagoner is a chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and editor of the journal Poetry Northwest. He has written ten novels, and many volumes of poetry, the latest of which is Walt Whitman Bathing (1996).
