Carl Sandburg - Baby Toes

THERE is a blue star, Janet,
Fifteen years’ ride from us,
If we ride a hundred miles an hour.

There is a white star, Janet,
Forty years’ ride from us,
If we ride a hundred miles an hour.

Shall we ride
To the blue star
Or the white star?

Baby Toes

Babytoes Clothing came into existence in 1981 CE on Canal Steet near the Bowery St. In NYC. I read this poem to (Janet) Lynn Sanvick while she was painting clothing to sell on the corner of West Broadway and Broome St. --on weekends, in SoHo. We are working on going to the white star! So much in love! WWW.Babytoes.Com
