Analysis and comments on Clean Curtains by Carl Sandburg

I remember this poem from high school. (I'm now almost 80) It helped me
throughout life not to give in to my surroundings. In every situation I
fought to have "clean curtains"..(good imagery)..and to never give up!
.....memorize some bit of verse??????
