Analysis and comments on The Right to Grief by Carl Sandburg

Comment 1 of 1, added on January 18th, 2007 at 3:37 PM.

this poem is sad. it's sad how the family is glad that their daughter is
gone but at the same time their happiness is justifiable. they had very
little money and with her having to go to the doctor all the time it must
have used up most of the little bit of money that they had. they were also
sad and that was because they lost their child. though the poem is sad it
is very nice.
