It looks at a view that nature is more beautiful than poetry. That the beauty in nature is that it's all beautiful. All poets can do is appreciate it, not kill it.

this poem is a deep and meaningful look at one of the fralities of human beings - shallowness, it shows how an individual may be used to only one particular thing. here Amy lowell is showing to ezra pound that every kind of poetry is beautiful, shown by the flowers, but ezra pound only likes one kind of poetry, because the person in the poem only likes roses and no other kind of flower
