Analysis and comments on Summer by Amy Lowell

Comment 1 of 1, added on January 21st, 2014 at 3:30 PM.
summer

the lines "To me alone it is a time of pause,
A void and silent space between two worlds,
When inspiration lags, and feeling sleeps," express Lowells disconnection
and discomfort during the summer months. She lacks a sense of emotion
during the summer and views the summer as a meaningless time period.
