If Mike is right, then Federal authorities could not close an alatinterve
currency down. Which is great, because it must be obvious to those who
control this system that community currencies, if they catch on, could
release us all from their clutches. But does anyone know: What happened
to the 100+ community currencies that were supposed to have flourihed
during the Great Depression? Were they shut down by the Feds?
