this poem is good but also has some disgusting things and things that
should not happen like whatif my parents get divorced?i surely will never
tell that in my life!this should be connected to a grade 5 children and i
found this poem like we are in higher classes.i like it but surely this
POEM HAS TO IMPROVE ALOT! my rattings for it are 3/5.

I loved the touch in this poem. The things that this poem shows is that
life isnt perfect and that anything can happen to you at any time.

I think it's a great poem to read and that all people should worrie about
things like that.=) The reason I'm reading all of the Shel Silverstien
book/poems is because in grade 5 and 6 we need to write poetry and poetry
anologys for our teachers and the school board!
It's pretty annoying like that though...

Nothing like reading a good Shel Silverstein poem to cheer you up after
reading edgar allen Poe all day....

I think that this poem is showing us that if we only think of what could
have happened we won't see what did happen. We have to open our eyes and
see what is not what if.
