ok, this comment section is for people to comment on the poems and their
meanings...not for some retarded people to type anything that comes to
their mind. shel silverstein was a brilliant poet and all the comments that
are insulting him are disgraces. maybe next time you should try to keep
your faggit comments to yourself.

Ok... you people are retarted. This poem is rather funny and entertaining.
If you were to know MORE about this poet (or of anything for that matter
you dumb-asses) you would realize that this poem is also a metephore which
pretains to everyday life. Silverstein wants the reader to realize that
dont be to quick to judge or critize others. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, STOP

i thought shel was like a two year olds author! how can anyone stand the
childish garbage? could it be possible that the 21st century is listening
to this because it takes no effort to understand this type of poetry?!
wanna read this crap? go to a children's library (and i am prepared to have
my head bit off-but this is america-freedom of speach people...)

haha the person who wanted "comments 36 & 37" off must've gotten them
off... whats ironic is that now that persons comment is 37... And for those
who are referring to how "she" is a good poet... you obviously dont know
what your talking about cuz Shel Silverstein is a guy!! And someone said he
should be hit for writing this poem... well he's dead... and if you dont
like the poem get over it and look into counseling for your aggression...
This poem is funny... reminds me of HIS other poem.."Sick" Shel writes
about things other people can relate to... Not everything has to talk about
the bad things in life... Alot of his poems talk about things that happen
everyday or just funny twists that expand your imagination... Good Day!!
