i agree with the other comment on this poem i feel it is exactly like a
relationship that has ended,move on from it and you can both be friends,
stay hung up on it and that will never happen.

This poem makes me think its about friendship after love. If you have
forgotten how sweet it felt, you may be around them, perhaps find
friendship. If however you remember it too well, you cannot be near it.
