Analysis and comments on A Cry by Sara Teasdale

Comment 2 of 2, added on June 9th, 2005 at 10:03 AM.

the lover that cannot see her or hold hands with her is Vachel...the cry is
Sara's cry for marrying the wrong man and Vachel's cry for not being able
to "have" Sara.

I think this whole poem is about her life, because the last part was about
her suicide, but it still explian her life with Ernst.
