Analysis and comments on Divinely Superfluous Beauty by Robinson Jeffers

Comment 1 of 1, added on October 11th, 2005 at 8:59 PM.

This poem expresses a belief in a God of love and beauty. It is a very
positive poem that says life is worth living. It was shown to me by
someone when I was depressed and it was a light in the darkness of my
depression. It sees the love of a man and woman as symbolic of the
creation of a beautiful world. The world is something created by love and
the lovers are an intrinsic part of the beauty of nature surrounding them.
