Robert Creeley - The Conspiracy

You send me your poems,
I'll send you mine.

Things tend to awaken
even through random communication

Let us suddenly
proclaim spring. And jeer

at the others,
all the others.

I will send a picture too
if you will send me one of you.

Did you see that shit about ossified Olson? Well?

we must start communicating. The Channels have been professionally rewired. Spooks haunt the circuits, cables, air. A poet who engages the shadow is darker for doing so. And closer to revealing how a lasting light will one day bring them down for good. Open your eyes.
