Richard Jones

Richard Jones (1953 - Present)


Richard Jones is the author of several books of poems, including Country of Air, At Last We Enter Paradise, and A Perfect Time. His book, The Blessing: New and Selected Poems, received the Midland Authors Award for Poetry for 2000. His most recent “publication,” Body and Soul, is on compact disc and discusses the art of poetry. He has also published two critical anthologies.

Editor of the literary journal Poetry East and professor of English, he is the director of the creative writing program at DePaul University in Chicago.
