This poem was written in response to a race riot in Detroit. "They Lion"
seems to be a growing anger that results from discrimination against the
lower classes, although they are the workers that hold society together.

He is representing what people have created from all of Earth's products;
it is viewed negatively by Levine. Also, he is exploring change in
different aspects.

Levine uses the word "Lion" to sound like he is saying "lying" instead.
