Thank you for your poem. I do not understand one thing in my life----Why do
I feel so alone and desperate to have someone to really love me, when I do
have someone I am married to, and we say to each other that we love one
another?

The hatefullness of lonliness once set fire to my eyes-
Millions watched, or so i thought, as deep inside i died-
Truth be told i was loved, but still outside i cried-
My inner fears showed in tears, swallowing my pride-
I thought that i would never see a light in all this dark-
And then again lonliness found itself a spark-
So to you who bear, the burden of dark and lonely nights-
Know that you are the truth and that alone is Bright...

Alone, Alone is a very touching poem. It doesn't take a Genious to figure
out what she is talking about. We have the Lord Jesus Christ who is always
and have always been on our side, with us, therefore, we are NEVER ALONE!If
you think you are alone, than you are alone.

ALONE
Maya Angelou is the voice of America, From her shores she projects around
our vast planet a message of freedom, there is a geniune understanding of
the beauty that life offers, and the misery that is inflicted too. Maya
inspires honesty and captures life in words. She is without doubt an
exceptional poet and a beautiful human being. I am an uneducated man who
works as a cleaner, but I recognise compassion and goodness from that which
I read. Truly an Angel

I really understand where she is coming from in this poem. I too have felt
alone many of times. I have felt so alone that sometimes I would have to
cry just so I can feel better. I have been through so much in my life and I
am still going through alot. I am currently 14 years old. I truly admire
you and the fact that you are brave enough to to the things that you do. I
have read so many of your poems and I have been so inspired by each and
every one them that I have read. I love you.

This was such a good poem. It really shows how life iss nothing if you dont
have someone to share it with. Money cant buy you permanent happiness only
friends family and God can.
