I didn't think that I was going to be able to handle coming back to school.
But a lady from my church read this poem to me and it was inspirational.
And now I am getting ready to graduate from Indiana Business College. All
because I knew that I could rise out from the dirt of oppression and become
a diamond in the rough.

This is one of the many gems of American litterature.
It is the essence of reconciliation and motivation for the less fortunate
who have refused to give up or give in. It pledges Freedom.
Thank you Maya
