This morning, April 19, 2006, I heard Linda Pastan discuss poetry on the
Diane Rehm show. She read this poem and I recognized a strong, friendly
poetic voice with which I identified. I couldn find only one of her poems
in my anthologies. I wonder why. Think she is very readable and accessible
poet who will advance the love of poetry. L.B. Carroll, Utah
