I'm doing a report on Langston Hughes. I've learned about his poems and
attitude... I've also learned about his quest for the equality and today,
he is still remembered for that.

this peom isabout togetherness. What mr.Langston hughes is saying is that
black and white people helped build America together. Also that Black
people were not acknowlegde for what they have done for American. This poem
is powerful, especially they way he mentions the quotes from presidents and
a balck man, ehich he puts all three together. Togetherness is the key for
Americans and others to always be ONE. even though this poem is lengthy, it
is important that many people read it. It is a empowering poem which all
different types of people should read.
Peace and blessings!

remember to: Always have a open but empowering mind.
