Your poem is very touching and it is my favorite of them all on this "top
40" list. The poet Langston has a very awesome talent for writing and i
enjoy reading them every day.

Just hearing the words still here is such a strong meaning and if u say it
over and over it's a good feeling to saiy "im am still here"

This poem is great and is written with so much feeling! Just hereing the
two words together "still here" is really overr looked by a lot of people.
We should appreciate that we are still here to experience the wonderful
meaning of life and your purpose on this earth.

I remember the week before 2000. Everyone was afraid that the world was
going to end. But it's not like that becuase the human race is a race full
of survivors. One of them being hughes. Poets are survivors beucase a lot
of them were different. They had the strength to keep doing what they love.
And that is why we are still here. We ARE still here becuase of creativity,
imagination, strength, and love.

I love this poem! I agree with Langston Hughes. IT's 2005 and you got that
all right!! I'm still here!Can identfy with the first two lines
personally.I'm fifty three yrs. old and I'm still here! Amen
