This poem i like my lif right now cause peoplelove me but hurts me and i
don't care about it . and your poem makes me feel good and lets me know
that i am not by my-self amd there's more people around her like me and
that's good think you for making that poem cause their's no one who
understand me like you do hope you make more poem's like that cause i will
read them all. and agin think you an lot.

I loved the poem and i think the power of mind in Langston cant stop me
think of ever existential of a person, being born, live, and die is the
mark of a persons existence and no matter what that will never diminish
whether subjected to pain, joys, of this world or off down into graves one
remains unique and thatr is an undiniable fact. Each person marks a history
as long as one comes and leaves the face of the Earth. Yap Hughes is simply

i think that this poem is the best of the best!!!! even though i like shel
silverstein better langston hughes is still GREAT!!! that 16 year old cant
spell. by the way im 12 and i can spell appreciate. and umm... i think
langston hughes is dead, isnt he? yea pretty sure!

In my opinion i think the poem is saying that he is tired or every
suffering there is. He is expressing that there are so many problems in
life

The first line of the poem should read "scarred and battered." At least,
that's how it's put on Mykee Fowlin's website. Makes sense. Just thought
you'd want to know.

I'm only 15 and in a few months I will be 16. This poem makes me appriciate
that I am still alive. The older that I get the more I notice the world
around me. Like a robin perched on a branch or a spider web glistening
after a light shower. Since I am still here I respect most of what is
around me but not all the time. Live, Love, Laugh, and Praise the Lord.
