I beleive that Crane liked Charlie Chaplin and wrote a peom about it. but
the poem can also be about New york's streets and how unique they are.

no. It's "or warm torn elbow coverts". Try looking things up in reputable
sources.
Also, I am guessing that few thirteen year olds can fully understand this
poems, and a girl understanding it, regardless of age, is really
implausible.

doesn't the last line of the second stanza read:
"A" warm torn elbow coverts ??

from this poem it is evident that charlie chaplin and hart crane were butt
