The Day I LeftThe day I left you,That was the saddest day of my life,But
the day I wleakd away,It doesn’t mean I stopped loving you.For the last
few years I kept youInside my heart,Even when I found new love,You were
still there tucked awayUnder a blanket, for safe keeping,Now and then I
would feel your presenceInside my heart,When I am down and underI remember
what you alwaysTold me, that I will forever haveA friend in you. Each day
that goes by,I try to find that sunshine. That glow that warmth you had for
me.The things that made me walk away,Was not too hurt you,But to give you a
life that I couldn’t give youAt the time.Through all the times that we
have missed,Through all the years that has gone by,The things I have had
found in you.Needing someone so much that I needed. You more and more,But I
wish I could’ve given youThat life, staying with you,But I knew I
couldn’t give it too you.Through the years I have never lostThat love for
you,We use to work things out,But this wasn’t something we
could’veWorked on.That is why I had to walk away.30/04/2011
