Frank O'Hara - Melancholy Breakfast

Melancholy breakfast
blue overhead blue underneath

the silent egg thinks
and the toaster's electrical
          ear waits

the stars are in
"that cloud is hid"

the elements of disbelief are
  very strong in the morning
