Analysis and comments on Webster Ford by Edgar Lee Masters

Comment 1 of 1, added on October 25th, 2005 at 11:49 PM.

theres alot to be said about this poem and no one cares so ill spare myself
the unneeded typing. I'll be brief. I love the poem, I think his vision of
Apollo is pure poetic inspiration that he doesnt act upon until late in his
life for fear of poverty and ridicule. This is parrallel to the life of
Edgar Lee Masters. For those who dont know "Webster Ford"="Edgar Lee
Masters"
