Analysis and comments on Elsa Wertman by Edgar Lee Masters

Comment 2 of 2, added on November 5th, 2012 at 8:42 AM.

to Elsa: Alone:
I and the sunray and the memory
Of childhood years and the true fears
As the birds wake up at their oak tree
And the shy moon away disappears
I know not where and no longer shone
Now, the heart in peace, I am alone
