Nor Maxism, which rests on 
  adulation of Max 
  Beerbohm, parodist 
  nonpareil, 
But maximism, the love 
  of adages, 
Or Maximism, the advocacy of 
  maximum gastronomic 
  pleasure on the model 
  of a meal at Maxim's 
  in Paris in, say, 1950.
