Poem: The Blackbirds Are Rough Today

i like this a lot. clearly he is woken by squawking birds, a bastrd behind the eyes, no booze in the fridge and perhaps he's even soiled himself. he gets up, his bones ache, the birds continue to irritate. just one of those days.
