No Word GivenWith no

No Word GivenWith no word givenmy love moved out of town, but I’d alwyas
knownsomething in her life was missing.Someone else told meshe answered
another callingand went to nursing school. For the past yearsomehow I knew
she was unhappyfrom the times we metand I listened to the connotationsof
what she didn’t say.But her leaving left me proudof her efforts to
becomewhat she was meant to be,a truth bittersweet.
