Elan is one of my vocabulary words and I haven't yet thought or figured out
how to use it. I was pleasantly surprised to see it start this poem. It
seems to me Ginsberg had a good range of vocabulary.

he's asking from where does such a beautiful dawn appear. he rules out
God. he's probably been up all night with insomnia and potent creativity.
