When you are winning,
You can’t lose, until you do.
Then your popularity
Is like a teardrop in a hot skillet.

I was thinking about the young quarterback for the New York Jets, and life in general on a much larger scale.

hello Art, everyone should think about that, ups and downs…downs and failures make think deeply…I am a little scared cause I feel rather Up these days…Thanks for the poem.

Hello, yann, feeling up is a good thing, but being mindful of the possibility of being down can go a long way to ensure a soft landing. I’m very upbeat about moving into a new neighborhood soon, but I worry that the poems may not be as plentiful there, as in this place, where a home invasion and shooting occurred on the weekend. The victim is critical, and drugs were involved. There is no end to the dark side of life here. My Muse and I will have to consult and collaborate on making senior living conducive to poetry! :)

    Great image poem.
