Born Arthur Chapman, Jr., 12/05/1941, Camden, Arkansas, a small town built around a paper mill, logging, and farming. Moved to to Las Vegas, NV as a teen in 1958, and eventually became an aviation executive before retiring in 2000.
Art views Poetry as a key that unlocks many doors to understanding our place in the staggering immensity of it all, and much of his poetry grapples with questions of the existential “why” and meditations on faith and destiny.
