On a destination far away
Debating to follow or go astray
In the end a high price to pay
For just a re-lived day

I know, I’m unworthy at best
While carrying this burden on my chest
Taking no time to rest
Concluding I failed the test

Every night I’m afraid to go to sleep
Reminded of a promise I have to keep
Walking on, the path so steep
It’s just my conscious that’s so deep

Every day I’m feeling left alone
My depression sets the tone
I’m cold to the bone
My vains turning to stone

I’m just as thee
Choice between blind or to see
I envy a life so free
Unfinished, instead of me

Left with experience to rate
But salvation comes too late
I except it in my human state
To exit at the next gate

    Depression (can) set th’ tone
    Making one feel “all alone”
Don’t accept this as th “fate to be”
    With hope i foresee - victory !

    Best wishes !

Thank you for the reply. Your poems are perfect. Our styles are similar. ” Straight From The Soul ”
I hope that doesn’t sound strange but I can just see how honest you are and how in touch you are with reality. That to me is beautiful.
I was reading you’re poems 2 days ago and I had a feeling you would like mine and then you left me a comment. Thanks!

HUH? I think you’re on the wrong site…

  6. rsmaples Says:

When I say Straight from the soul. I mean just what you said. No Codes, No ins and Outs, No trying to write like someone else.
Your rhythm, Your style, It’s all natural. The words just fall out and you write them exactly the way you hear them inside. Like your Soul is begging you to grab a pen and paper and release all the sadness that you keep hidden inside. I Love Writing but I can only write when my emotions permit it!

Speaking of creation. I also make abstract prints and would really appreciate your opinion on my work. Just go to www.starvingartistoutlet.com and click on the abstract button. I’m not trying to sell you anything so please don’t think that’s why I’m asking you to check them out. I Just want to share another form of my release

Thank You! The images you like are the newest ones. I make them in photoshop. It’s not too hard to do as long as you can think of an image to create and know how to use photoshop. First I have to think of what type of feeling that I want to express, then try to imagine a picture that will express that felling and then, since “I’m not a great painter”, I have to try and capture different images I want to use on a digital camera or in some cases search the internet for royalty free images so I can piece the image together. For example #5. The picture you like. The mountain, water, land, boat and the sky are all separate images. But even doing all that doesn’t mean anything if you don’t feel something when you look at the image! I hope you keep painting. I know it can be frustrating but it’s worth. Creating pictures that you love
is a great feeling. It can be just like writing a poem, you’re just writing with images. The poem creates vision, the image creates words!
