Reason abandons me whenever you’re around
I falter, words are nowhere to be found
An unintended touch, a split second in a rhyme
That stolen moment will last a lifetime

After this short-circuit I can’t remember how to function
I lay awake every night; torn due to this junction
Should I go left, or should I turn right
I think I died tonight, since you took off, out off sight

This morning a tear fell down and it wouldn’t stop
I’ve counted them all, as a witness I saw them drop
What am I supposed to do, I’m empty without you
I can’t do this, I don’t know how to pull through

Every vessel in my body screams out your name
It’s burning inside, I can’t endure this pain
I suffer in silence and keep waiting for you
Knowing you are a liar, I can’t yet admit that it’s true

Cut out my heart, take it and go real far
So I can face my internal war
Whatever will be left of me in the end
A forbidden love was not my intend

RS this poem really shows the pain one feels from a “broken heart” , love can hurt ! Another gem here !
