In your eyes by Jhonny Thermidor

In your eyes, I discerned all about you,
I scrutinized your heart deeply inside,
So I could obtain control of your life,
Know what you’ve been going through,
And get affection with no missing fraction!

In your eyes, I caught sight of the truth,
I knew whether you got fears or not,
They got me informed about your issues.
Despite this seems like a naught,
But still I believe it as does an Haitian!

In your eyes, I only take pride in,
They gave their consent to see,
To see when something goes wrong,
To see if you will deliberately misstate,
As I stare at them, without prevarication!

In your eyes, no deviation from the truth,
At those sparkled, faithful, unfeigned eyes,
No turning aside, doubt, or dishonesty at all.
I come to know you more than you imagined,
And they could surely verify your emotion!

In your eyes, I determine the beauty,
The real fascination inside your heart,
Your eyes keep me informed and never lie.
Your eyes revealed the secret concealed.
Your eyes are your anxieties’ revelation!

The truth is not true unless the eyes accept!

Ah, but what if the eyes are are deceived by what they see? Are you referring to the “spiritual” eye.

  3. Jhonny Thermidor Says:

The eyes may not reveal what is exactly happened, but if you stare at them carefully in time of doubt, you might realize that something went wrong. At this point, you’ll have just to quest for the exact event using your own skills!

  4. ttromance_2006 Says:

Truth is the mirage that makes us think that it is OK

  5. oxygon Says:

If truth is a mirage, I wonder what a lie is?

  6. memoona Says:

It’s true thet eyes are windows to soul yet our senses cannot always depict the truth. Besides from using our senses we have to anaylye and scrutinize the whole senario before jumping to any conclusion. And most importantly we have to give time; because remember time reveals everything.

  7. oxygon Says:

Hi, memoona! I’ve really missed you! It is so good to have you grace these pages again, and I hope to see some new poems soon. I sense that you are comfortable with just being yourself, and I like the honesty and simplicity of that.

    Best wishes,
