Between the fountains of desire
I walk a lonely, fragile road
Touched by hundred eyes of fire
Wasted dreams do not reload.

All flesh is yearning for relief
Am i the slave of my damnation?
Forgiveness can´t be my belief
Within my womb lies my salvation.

  1. clematis Says:

love the inner rhythm of both your poems & the picture it paints -

the fountains of desire - eyes of fire

you’ve brought a very unique & fresh picture of the courtesan with a touch of irony:

‘Within my womb lies my salvation.’

    delicately handled & well expressed!

thank you for your charming comment.. i am happy to see i have been understood in the way i intented to be.
