Phesperone, the beauty of the Word by ColePresswood

Phesperone
the gods knew your heart was a flight risk
that night i collapsed beneath the gravity of Earth
they commanded me to steal
your passport photo
“hide it in a cave in Vayotz Dzor”
whispered the wind
my soul but a leaf

your beauty so ravishing you tempt
the king of Hell
a beauty so haunting
it broke the heart of the world
my, how your mother must weep for you

one may grow so tired of empty chairs
will someone just not arrive
and help spread these pomegranate seeds around
no sounds in the empty halls
laughter and tears are from the same source
building Altars while looking over your shoulders
the sky has eyes
the wall, ears
the streets spew the madness of the times
the song becomes unholy when one only keeps
singing it to themselves

the world’s Governments
would never allow a love like ours

with spies dressed as civilian’s
and their elections bought fair and square
the romantics executed in the heart of the city
propaganda, Faction porn and a Holy Text message
from Google

we plead our case
but Justice is bound blind
unless it comes to color
then it’s eyes become deliberated
jaded with green and gold
as the comedian cried out
“there is no justice…..
JUST US…….!”

this is where the damned and lonely gather
for a taste of the forsaken tears
known in some circles that spin within circles
as righteous and tad bit couture
Sacraments and attrition
manna and L.S.D
falling back to earth
the burning sound of wings screaming
in vain against the cruelty of the Sun
my G-d! what i have done?

sound the horns
the invasion is on by the Golden dawn
the Ram has been sacrificed
under
Draco’s star Thuban
the symbols of the Pharaoh
still tattooed upon our backs
we never made our Exodus
no land of milk of honey
just taxes and oil spills
Cain keeps killing able
for his petty cause

Peruvian persuasion
predator drones,
border-wars
microchips,
the coming water wars
satellites crashing upon
occupied temples
these foreign affairs
have left your soul a crusader
and all your actions a martyr to the cause

the ocean knows our sins
and will not wash us clean
we spilled the decaying bones
of kings and dinosaurs on
her shore
destroyed her children in her oceanic womb

with rehearsed smiles
polished lines
the leaders of men
spin fables to pacify
the sheep
they bought the muses with a Grant from the State
the painters have been instructed what to paint
unto Ceaser we suckle
these tender tragedies
headline news
the spot light becomes a throne
for the prince of Air
Ancient birds carry His song
“bow down and the world is yours”

Phesperone,
pluck this flower
and just let it go, all to Hell

until the next world
i was always yours
my broken hymn
was my only pure offering
the curtain torn
your enslaved veil lifted
drying your wets eyes
upon the burning rock
when everything has already been said
who do you listen to?
where is the promise you never
had the faith to believe in?
the only Holy Temples
are not built by man
but by breath into dirt
flesh made word
a sword is still a sword
and kiss is still a kiss……
Phesperone, it always ends in blood
