Royal Pains Box Set 1-4 by andrewstanley99

No Linking Allowed!

No Linking Allowed!

Of all Krzystztof Kieslowski’s masterpieces, his last, the Three Colours Trilogy, is the one that has connected most with UK and US audiences. Commissioned off the back of The Dekalogue, (a TV series that Royal Pains Season 2 DVD Box Set was blowing minds on a scale of The Wire, when The Wire was in short pants) The Three Colours Trilogy is the ultimate Gilligan’s Island: The Complete Series Collection auteuristic indulgence. The three parts comprise Three Colours Blue, White and Red, representing the liberty, equality and fraternity that those colours stand for within the French flag. The ever matter-of-fact Kieslowski admits in this Blu-Ray’s awesome bonus features that the inspiration behind the theme of the French flag was the French funding that he had been offered. If it had been American money, it would have been a different film. Simple as that.

Divya had no idea what a colossal nightmare she would unleash last season when she sold her shares of HankMed to Evan. In fact, Evan didn’t even realize at first that this gave him a controlling stake in the company. But when he tried to push his agenda on Hank, his brother quit. That’s where “Royal Pains” (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on USA) picked things up for its Season 4 premiere.

While Evan moved forward on a Hank-less HankMed, Hank worked with Jill on setting up a private practice. No Linking Allowed! He also treated Jill’s brother Ernie, played by Donal Logue, who was participating in a competitive eating contest. Breaking Bad Season 4 DVD Box Set Divya was working with one of the other competitors.

But that’s about as close as things got to the good old days. Even Divya’s attempts to force the brothers together over a dinner to try and hash out their differences couldn’t stop them from fighting. It’s a rare gloom over the series that usually manages to leave things sunny and happy, but it should make for some interesting tension over the next few weeks until inevitably, HankMed is reunited and comes back stronger than ever.
