Rating:  - Olympus Floating Camera Strap
I used this in pool water and salt water and it held the camera in a spot where I could find it. I will not get near the water with the camera without the float strap.
Rating: - very usefull
the floating strap is usefull for people who want to take their camera in the ocean. if u have the strap u don't have to worry if u'll drop your camera - it's floating on the surface

This is a wonderful accessory to any waterproof Olympus camera. It certainly serves its purpose by making my camera (stylus 850sw) float. My only complaint is that it is slightly too large for my wrist and can easily slip off. When in water I usually adjust it so that it fits comfortably on the upper portion of my arm. So no worries, it stays put there. You can adjust the strap to make it larger or smaller. I recommend this product to everyone!

This would be a great product if it did what it is supposed to do. I tied a string to my camera and tossed it in the lake with the floating strap attached. the strap did not have sufficient buoyancy to float the camera. It sank and kept sinking. When it got to the end of the string 10' or so, I gave a little tug to see if it would eventually come to the surface. No deal. Maybe the 830 is lighter.
Rating: - Great accessory
Used this strap while snorkeling in Maui. Gave me piece of mind that I wouldn't lose my camera and memory card full of pictures. Well worth the price!
