Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Value
Just got the promotional 3rd battery. That and the driver make this a fantastic deal. The Li-ion batteries just don't want to run down.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Set!
I bought this set after seeing it in action at the IWF show in Atlanta. If you have never used an impact driver, you really don't know what you are missing. If you drive a lot of screws, it is a must have tool. This is a really good set for the money. The 1.5 amp-hr batteries strike a good balance between run-time and weight. Switching batteries is easy and quick. The batteries recharge in 20 minutes or less, so you can always have a fresh battery ready to go when one runs out.

When I bought the kit, I wasn't too excited about the flashlight. I figured I'd seldom use it. We are now in 0ur 8th day without electricity after the remnants of Ike came through Ohio. That flashlight has been a real lifesaver. I bounce the light off of the ceiling and it lights up the whole room.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Chuck wobble
Unfortunately I ran into the chuck wobble problem that some other people have had with the drill. Returned it so we'll see if the replacement fixes the problem.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Lots of Good, But One Problem....
Have had this kit for just under a year. The weight of the tools is phenomenal. Very light and excellent balance. The impact gun is pretty impressive. The drill, however, doesn't really have the ooomph I was hoping for. And if you are doing a lot of drilling, expect your batteries to get very hot, and also to take a very long time to cool down before the charger will start charging them. I've had these guns heat up quite a bit while under heavy use, so much so that I've had to put gloves on. This is drilling into steel, by the way. These are great guns for the price and the weight, but under heavy usage (I'm a scenic carpenter in the entertainment industry), the drill is less than impressive. And the clutch just died on it. I'm going to stick with Makita, but I'm going for the more powerful guns.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Lightweight, Powerful, and Compact
I work for a construction company and we bought all of our guys and the shop workers these drills. (about 8 or 9 total) These are lightweight, more powerful and lighter than any other drill I have used. BE GENTLE. Obviously Makita makes durable tools, but one has broken when it fell from a 10' ladder, obviously. Other than that, these drills are awesome and will continuously buy them or others. BATTERIES ARE AWESOME, but do not leave on charger, when its done take it off. THIS WILL KILL YOUR BATTERY. The light on it also helps if working at night or in the dark like we do for our company. Hope this helps. Dont kill your batteries. They are expensive lol.
